Acid phos: Conditions developed due to grief, disappointed affection, excessive loss of vital fluid, sexual excesses, weakness after acute diseases.
Aconite: Symptoms that may start after the exposure to cold wind, dry cold weather, or exposure to drafts while in perspiration. The patient is worse at night. Although face may be red and flashed, on rising up from the bed the face becomes pale. Face alternating red and pale. The patient may be very thirsty for cold water.
Allium cepa: Streaming cold with much sneezing and watery eyes. Eyes feel burning and smarting and are sensitive to light. The watery discharge from the nose is burning and can make the upper lip and nose raw. All symptoms are better in the open air and the person feels worse in the evening and in a warm room.
Antim tart: Rattling cough, seems like much mucus is inside the respiratory tract but cant come out, In spring & autumn (damp weather), child cough gets worse.
Apis mel: Drunkard diarrhea, Edema (bag like swelling) under the eyes.
Arnica mont: Sore, lame bruised feeling all through body as if beaten, bruised after injury, traumatic injury in brain, blood clotting after injury.
Arsenicum alb: Very restless and anxious states with thin watery discharge that burns. It is also indicated when nose is blocked, sneezing without relief, intense thirst little and often.
Baptisia: Low-grade fever that lingers and the person feels very sore and heavy with strong aching of all muscles. There is a tremendous weakness and the patient feels like staying in bed all day, the feeling of drowsiness is quite strong if the remedy is required.
Belladona: Very high fever[39.9C] where the patient is very hot to touch and looks very red on his face and maybe delirious with the fever. Violent headache after heat or sun exposure, Conjuctivitis.
Bellis p: Injuries to soft tissue such as breasts and abdomen, injuries to bones or sprains in the muscle tissue, internal bleeding during pregnancy, inability to walk properly due to varicose veins.
Borax: Mouth ulcers, easily bleeding, soreness worse from touch, eating salty and sour food.
Bryonia: Flu remedy for a person who feels like he must keep still at all the times as he feels worse by any movement he makes so the person wants to be alone, quiet, and still.
Calcarea fluor: Varicose and enlarged veins, Haemorrhoids, enlargement of the Thyroid glands, Opacity of cornea and chronic lung infections, necrosis of the bones and teeth.
Calcarea phos: During first and second dentition. Children: thin, weak, unable to stand; slow in learning to walk.
Cantharis Drinking even small quantities of water increases pain in the bladder. Sudden desire to urinate and intense itching in urethra. Burning, cutting pains in urethra during urination.
Carbo veg: For the bad effects of exhausting diseases, whether in young or old, indigestion from a drinking excess alcohol, excessive accumulation of gas in stomach and intestines aggravated by lying down; after eating or drinking, sensation as if stomach would burst; effects of a debauch, late suppers, rich food. Eructations give temporary relief.
Caulophyllum: Especially suited to women; ailments during pregnancy, delivery, lactation. After pains: after long exhausting labor.
Chamomila: Children; new-born and during period of dentition, very irritable, oversensitive to pain (quiet only when carried)
Cina: Children; suffering from worms; pitiful weeping when awake, starts and screams during sleep; grinding of teeth, Canine hunger: hungry soon after a full meal
Cinchona: Ailments: from loss of vital fluids, especially haemorrhages, excessive lactation, diarrhoea,
Colchicum: Smell acute; nausea and faintness from the odor of cooking food, even sight of food, abdomen is distended with gas, disposition to vomit which is aggravated on slight motion.
Drosera: Whooping-cough with violent paroxysms which follow each other rapidly, barking cough aggravated after mid night, Cough: aggravated by warmth, drinking, lying down, after midnight
Eupatorium perf: Pain in limbs and muscles that accompany some forms of febrile disease, like malaria and influenza.
Euphrasia: The eyes water all the time and are agglutinated in the morning; margins of lids red, swollen, burning
Gelsimium Acute influenza (flu) or sore throats, with weakness, limp limbs, chills, fever, headaches with double vision, and heavy, drooping eyelids.
Graphites: Suited to women, with a history of delayed menstruation, Eczema of eye lids, Leucorrhoea: acrid, excoriating; occurs in gushes day and night; before and after menses, Hears better when in a noise.
Hepar sulph: Extremely sensitive to cold air, Cough: when any part of the body is uncovered; choking, strangling cough from exposure to dry west wind
Hypericum: Injury to parts rich in nerves – fingers, toes, matrices of nails, palms or soles. Mechanical injuries of spinal cord; bad effects of spinal concussion; pains, after a fall on coccyx.
Ignatia: Women of a sensitive, easily excited nature, Mental conditions rapidly, in an almost incredibly short time, change from joy to sorrow, from laughing to weeping, moody. Persons mentally and physically exhausted by long-concentrated grief.
Ipecac: Constant nausea, Cough: dry asthmatic. Difficult breathing from least exercise; Whooping-cough: child loses breath, turns pale, stiff and blue; with gagging and vomiting of mucus. Cough, with rattling of mucus while breathing in.
Kali bichrom: Symptoms of cold and cough like stubborn congestion, swollen eyelids, or sticky, stringy discharge from the nose.
Kali mur: Dandruff with white crusts. Headache due to sinusitis, Clear up acne, Ear pains especially after change in atmospheric pressure, Clears sore throat acquired at a hospital,
Kreosote: Post menopausal diseases of women, Painful dentition; teeth begin to decay as soon as they appear.
Ledum: Contusions of eye and lids. Gout, acute and chronic arthiritis, rheumatic pains are < by motion; < at night, by warmth of bed and bedcovering; relieved only when holding feet in ice-water. Long lasting discoloration after injuries
Lycopodium: Excessive accumulation of flatulence; constant sensation of satiety; good appetite, but a few mouthfuls fill up to the throat, and he feels bloated with loud grumbling, croaking, especially lower abdomen. Child cries before urinating. Impotence: of young men, from onanism or sexual excess; penis small, cold, relaxed; old men, with strong desire but imperfect erections.
Merc sol: Creeping chilliness, frequent sneezing, sore throat, and heavy salivation, Spasmodic pain in abdomen with mucus in stool.
Natrum mur: For the anaemic and cachetic; whether from loss of vital fluids – profuse menses, seminal losses – or mental affections. Irritability: child cross when spoken to; crying from slightest cause. Marked disposition to weep; sad weeping mood without cause, but consolation from others aggravates her troubles on the other hand she wants consolation from people close to her. Headache: anaemic, of school girls (Cal. p.); from sunrise to sunset, beginning with blindness.
Nux vomica: Hang over after alcoholic drinks, Indigestion due to over eating, Flu-like symptoms: feeling run down, body aches, chills, and fever.
Phosphorus: Over sensitiveness of all the senses to external impressions, light, noise, odors, touch. Restless, fidgety; moves continually, cannot sit or stand still a moment, Cough: going from warm to cold air (rev. of Bry.); aggravated from laughing, talking, reading, drinking, eating. Craving for icecream and jucy fruits.
Podophyllum: Headache alternates with diarrhoea, Diarrhoea of children: during teething, Stool: green, watery, fetid, profuse, Uterine prolapse: from over lifting or straining; from constipation; after child birth.
Pulsatilla: Wet cough with thick, yellowish phlegm, aggravated in bed.
Rhus tox: Chills, restlessness, stiffness, and body aches especially during cool damp weather or weather changes, Muscle pain due to excessive work-out.
Ruta: Acts upon the periosteum and cartilages, eyes and uterus. Complaints from straining flexor tendons especially. Tendency to the formation of deposits in the periosteum, tendons, and about joints, especially wrist. Overstrain of ocular muscles. All parts of the body are painful, as if bruised. Sprains (after Arnica).
Sabina: Has a special action on the uterus; also upon serous and fibrous membranes; hence its use in gout. Pain from sacrum to the pubis. Hæmorrhages, where blood is fluid and clots together. Tendency to miscarriage, especially at third month. Violent pulsations; wants windows open.
Sepia: Acts specially on the portal system, with venous congestion. Stasis and thereby ptosis of viscera and weariness and misery. Weakness, yellow complexion, bearing-down sensation, especially in women. Pains extend down to back, chills easily. Tendency to abortion. Hot flashes at menopause with weakness and perspiration. Upward tendency of its symptoms. Easy fainting. “Ball” sensation in inner parts. All pains are from below up. One of the most important uterine remedies. Tubercular patients with chronic hepatic troubles and uterine reflexes. Feels cold even in warm room. Pulsating headache in cerebellum.
Silicea: Imperfect assimilation and consequent defective nutrition. Silica can stimulate the organism to re-absorb fibrotic conditions and scar-tissue. It is related to all fistulous burrowings. Ripens abscesses since it promotes suppuration. Intolerance of alcoholic stimulants. Ailments attended with pus formation.
Sulphur: Dry, scaly, unhealthy; every little injury suppurates. Freckles. Itching, burning; worse scratching and washing. Pimply eruption, pustules, hang-nails. Excoriation, especially in folds. Skin affections after local medication. Pruritus, especially from warmth, is evening, often recurs in spring-time, in damp weather.
Urtica urens: Profuse discharge from mucous surfaces. Enuresis and urticaria. Spleen affections. Antidotes ill-effects of eating shellfish. Symptoms return at the same time every year. Gout and uric acid diathesis. Rheumatism associated with urticaria-like eruptions.
Variolinum: Used for “internal vaccination.” Seems to be efficacious in protecting against, modifying and aiding in the cure of smallpox.
Veratrum alb: A perfect picture of collapse, with extreme coldness, blueness, and weakness, is offered by this drug. Post-operative shock with cold sweat on forehead, pale face, rapid, feeble pulse. Cold perspiration on the forehead, with nearly all complaints. Vomiting, purging, and cramps in extremities. The profuse, violent retching and vomiting is most characteristic. Surgical shock. Excessive dryness of all mucous surfaces.
